Join our weekly Kids' Yoga classes at the Totnes Playstation! Each class takes the children on an active journey - we might visit the dinosaurs, travel to the moon or dive under the sea - all the while learning yoga postures and having lots of fun!
For Nice Mums Devon, I'd be happy to offer the first class free, and a flexible 6 session-pass for the price of 5. It would be lovely to see you, & spread the word!
And a bit more about the classes in case you're keen... Yoga is a great way to strengthen muscles, foster creativity, improve concentration and release any tension. We wind down with a creative relaxation - this is often kids' favourite part. Classes have been designed to compliment the Early Years & Key Stage 1 curriculum. They increase confidence, boost self esteem and nurture imagination. Through fun, engaging stories and songs, I encourage communication, observation, problem solving, thought sharing and decision making! Most of all, I aim to make each child feel strong in their bodies and positive about themselves.
Weekly on Thursdays @ Totnes Playstation 9.30am & 10am (30 min classes) First Class Free, then £3.50 for drop in, or £3 each with a 6 session pass.
Easy Parking, Cafe on site Everyone Welcome!

Vision Aid Overseas collect old spectactles to recycle to help the 13 million children worldwide who are visually impaired because they don't have glasses.
There are collection points across the country which you can find by hitting the link and putting in your postcode. We're sure a lot of you will have a dusty old pair of specs you no longer wear or will know someone who has so encourage your friends and family to dig them out and donate them to a great cause.

Hi guys its that time of week again! Been an emotional roller coaster and for a change I am cream crackered! Well the week started off great, fab day off on Sunday with my girl, baking, fun in the park, visiting the in laws. Monday pretty uneventful home life wise although I literally was on my own at work all day so no break, no tea just 9-5 grief, so as you can can imagine one tired lady!! Tuesday was my day off you would think a little lie in to recover but nope, up, madam fed and dressed for nursery, dog walked, phew! Three hours down time I admit I vegetated on the sofa for 2 hours - bliss - then had the bright idea to visit Home Bargains with the hubby - big mistake - why are men worse than kids?? Went for a few things and £20 later...... time to pick up madam. Had a lovely surprise, she was Star of the Session, all for her learning and phonics (Iam doing something right yay!). Hubby is BORED (who is the child again!) so off we go 2 the in laws again (miss my family, I could of gone to see them but 250 miles is a bit far for a cup of tea!). Alexis loves doting on her baby cousin and picking on her uncles, she's happy, hubby not bored, off we go to home. Not in the house 10 minutes and Alexis is sick, wonderful! Bless her she's what I call a tidy sick, she keeps it in one place in an easy clean area. I manage to calm her, force spaghetti on toast in her and get her settled. Lesson learned, no night time outings! Too much excitement in one day isn't good! Rest of the week she stays at home with Daddy just to be safe! I feel like a working cleaning and cooking machine!! The joys of being a working mummy. Friday I came home to the best cup cakes with pink frosting, cooked by hubby and Alexis I was so chuffed after such a hard week for me, being away during the working day and the constant running around I feel guilty like I don't see enough of my daughter and I am constantly tired but I have a plan!! I have issues with my weight and I know if I up my exercise levels this will tackle my tiredness (long term) and weight issues (slow and steady) so as of today (Sunday) I have been on a run, done a cardio basic routine and done an ab workout, all before the house even stirred! I even managed a proper shower with no little person watching me! So next week we will see how I go, can I keep the routine with everything else? Time will tell as long as it doesn't affect my time with Alexis (down to my planning) then its all systems go but can I reach my goal by xmas?? Hope so!
Right off to snuggle with my lady and watch good old Shrek, her choice honest ;)
